The SSE Hydro is a multi-purpose indoor arena located within the Scottish Event Campus in Glasgow, Scotland. The arena was initially named The Hydro after its main sponsor, energy company Scottish & Southern Energy subsidiary Scottish Hydro. The world's only two-legged equestrian statue, of cartoon character Lobey Dosser, opposite the Halt Bar in Woodlands Road in 1996. The bronze statue was paid for by donations following an appeal in the Diary columns of the Glasgow Herald. Scipione Tadolini (1822–1893) was an Italian sculptor in the Tadolini family, son of sculptor Adamo Tadolino (1788-1868), one of Antonio Canova's main assistants, brother of the sculptor Tito Tadolini (1828-1910), and in turn father of sculptor Giulio Tadolini (1849–1918).
