That was an interesting read Joe. You have taken a fine picture and I also like the side view as in the link. I would love to see more of this type of statue. I think people take more notice when they are in such a place and one can even sit by the side of them. Cheers, Rosa.

There is a nice bench with a statue in Fort William, Rosa, to signal the end of the West Highland Way. People, who have completed the 96 miles, sit next to the statue to have a photograph taken. Thanks for your very kind comment. Cheers, Joe

I have walked the first mile, Rosa. Then I did an about turn and went back to Milngavie Station and caught the train home. LOL.
