I love the gentle reflection that the rain soaked pavement gives Joe. I guess it wasn't so gentle falling on you! Perfectly presented in b&w. Nearly the end of the month now and I am wondering if you have a favourite picture, as well as a favourite lens, of the month? No pressure. LOL!
Cheers, Rosa.

I don't feel any pressure at all, Rosa. LOL. With only two days to go, a successful outcome to my self-challenge is as good as in the bag. I am swithering as to which is my favourite photo. My favourite lens is my Sigma 35mm f1.4 DG HSM Art, which is as sharp as a tack.

You are right about the rain. I got drookit photographing the kirk.

Cheers,

Joe

My first question is, "What is a plamp and should I get one?" Dumbarton is certianly getting a good airing this month. I wonder when Nicola will relax the rules so that you can wander further. According to today's news, Scotland is almost Covid free, so they won't be letting sassenchs in. LOL

Click here to see what a plamp is, Amelia. It is an amalgam of plant + clamp. You should buy one if you like photographing flowers. One end is attached to your tripod, and the other end can be very gently attached to the stalk of the plant to stop it swaying in the bereeze.

At the moment, we are allowed to travel for around five miles. The furthest I have been from Dumbarton is three and and a half miles. That was the day I photographed Lock 38 on the Forth and Clyde Canal at Bowling.

Thanks for your very kind comment, Amelia

I look forward to seeing your floral photographs, when you get your plamp.

Cheers,

Joe
