The legend of Easter Sunday at Arnay-le-Duc
From Paris one can travel south on the super highway at speeds of up to 130 K/hr and get to their destination rather quickly. But we were in “tourist” mode and decided to take the scenic Route. In the wine region of Bourgogne, south of Dijon, on Route N6, we came upon a charming little town that seamed to not yet have fully emerged out of the middle ages, by the name of Arnay-le-Duc. On Easter Sunday, the little town square in front of Town Hall, was almost completely deserted.
