Amma is a pure icelandic word..... Funny how you can find words exactly the same meaning the same on the other side of the planet :o) AND thank you so much for your visit and wish on my birthday :o)
so what does "amma" mean in Icelandic? I don't know if it means anything in Arabic, but that's what i called her when I started with my first words as a child, and it stuck!!
Well that's quite close! She was someone my grandmother has adopted as a child and grew up in the family. She took care of me and brother as kids. Was like a second mother to me!
