Endpaper

Endpaper
From Picture Cook Book, Time-Life, 1958. Section heading illustrations and endpapers by Adolph E. Brotman.

This represents an attempt to clean up the previous upload. I left the first one alone for those who may prefer the historic yellowing. :)

Krysto Likid, Risa Profana, Don Sutherland, Sabine Remy and 6 other people have particularly liked this photo

"You'll wonder where the yellow went when you brush your teeth with Pepsodent!" Remember that jingle?

I remember this style of illustration being used on Formica topped coffee tables, trays & chopping boards. Very evocative of my younger days - a nice reminder! Thanks!

You're absolutely right. It was a style we knew around our homes.

Thanks, Phil.
