The former Rand McNally printing house and globe factory in Chicago now houses the Department of Homeland Security.
Actually, I see, the federal government acquired the building the year 'Lucinda' was first published.

Just the type of book I would have enjoyed as a child, a text not to challenging and colorful illustrations. Come to think of it, that remains the type of book I enjoy:)
