Yes it is! I have to tell you, I don't think I'd ever seen the character. You're hard to stump!

Thanks, Nylonbleu. I'm glad you enjoyed it. It's the work of a charming children's book illustrator who shall remain nameless until I get the book -- all or most of it -- uploaded here.

Thanks, Bev. And I agree, my home should have had one long before this. I see that it came out in 1962! It bugs me to have missed out on it for this long.

I play piano for the choir at my kids' old elementary school. Became friends with an old-school kindergarten teacher who was about to retire after teaching for 40 years. She had "A Zoo for Mister Muster" and some other old books still in her classroom. I saw it, loved it, then found a copy online to buy. Not long after I lucked out and found "A Holiday for Mister Muster" for 50 cents at a library sale. They're both cute, but 'Zoo' is the cuter of the two in my opinion.

Thanks for that story, arts! The teacher sounds like a peach. I don't know of any teachers lately who have hung in there for 40 years. (If one is reading this, take no offense. My sister was a teacher and retired while in her 50s.)
