Speaking of 3D:
The tilt of the head on the two men is well-handled.
Drawing things in 'proper' perspective is something the Push Pin guys rejected with great vigor. That 'folk art' aesthetic is not to everyone's taste, but I think it's great.
Willfully forgetting how to draw in perspective is challenging. It's an especially impressive trick when an artist pulls off a smooth blend of both approaches. I think that's what Sharp has done here. (Note, for instance, the naive perspective of the donut shop model.)
