Nach diesem Foto versanken sie sofort wieder tief ins Nest...danach tauchten sie nicht mehr auf. Das Foto war ein Zufallstreffer.

habe gestern rein zufällig ein sehr verstecktes Nest in der Garage entdeckt, ich war wohl letztes Jahr zu aufdringlich!

Hier sind Piepmatzens aufdringlich, das Nest befindet sich direkt neben der Hauseingangstür, wo Mensch und Katz ein und aus gehen. Schon beim Nestbau haben sie Störungen hingenommen.

Ich wundere mich ja immer wieder darüber - wie man von Mücken und Raupen und Fliegen in 2 Monaten wachsen und dann noch fliegen kann - aber es funktioniert jedes Jahr -

Insekten scheinen sehr eiweißhaltig zu sein, es gibt ja durchaus auch Menschenkinder, die sie essen ;-)

Die Mutter war nicht weit entfernt, aber meine Kamerabewegungen lösten diesen Schnabelaufsperr-Reflex zunächst aus. Als nicht Fressbares kam, duckten sie sich wieder ganz schnell im Nest ab.
