This photograph was taken at a recent Brazilian event in UK. Cordao De Ouro Capoeira dancers performed their athletic mix of dance, acrobatics and martial arts, to pulsating rhythms.

Participation from the public was encouraged and, in this photograph I managed to capture a member of the public dancing with a Capoeira dancer. A great night!

In this picture I added much editing, that resulted in a mixture of figurative forms merging with a 3D abstract background. Much of the background is composed of "light".

I tried to capture the joy and fun of dance and capture the essence of public participation in arts events.
