Design week Milan!! 

i don't agree. but we can start a discussion about "sense" - is that what you really want? however - keep on Silje.

Its what makes sense to me...I never expect anyone to have the same opinion. I am walking around to be inspired and a lot of the things I see inspires me in a way that tells me not to go in that direction. But if you like a lamp that is three meters high and takes half of the space of a "normal" livingroom..then that makes sense to u. Using such an amount of material for something that mostly is all about appearance...Producing new design is not easy and there are many in the business..but many times I feel that some products are more about flashy look at me mentality instead of being innovative, clever and serving a need. Its easy to make strange gadgets...And no I don't want a long discussion on this...I didn't suddenly decide yesterday on where I find my inspiration and what values I bring into this...

okay so i misunderstood your statement. i thought you are talking about the pics itself and not the objects. whatever - if a pic makes sense is a discussion i didn't like to start (and i don't agree your pics make NO sense)... this is what i wanted to say.
about design (product-design) - it is the questions for what it is made for. for use... yes maybe a lamp which takes nearly the whole place of a room could make sense.... but for whom? however - it is an interesting topic.... but i am afraid i lack of the knowledge needed for a meaningful discussion ;-)

Hehe...yes thats a different topic. I guess I wasn't all that clear when I wrote this.....
As for knowledge and a meaningful discussion on design....I find it very interesting to hear what a person that has no knowledge of art thinks about different works and the same with design. Its a different and very important view!

I wonder why they both look to the left...

I think the man to the left is looking at the right man....and the right man is looking at a wall further away...i think he is lost in thought and the left man wonders what the right man is thinking :-)
