Clean Start # 1


Starting over at Ipernity...I've been starting to feel more at home here...as I've stated in other threads of discussion...I don't really want too many of my pics from censr here (some exceptions) and over there I was never a part of 365...so I thought this a perfect start here...so here is my first pic for the 365 days project...clean start

Are you keeping your flicr account, if that is what it was, I still have mine over there and I have some awesome friends. Some of them are here to like me. I have to say I really enjoy it here there seems to be a little bit different mentality when it comes to photography, neither are bad just different. And about the self timer if it EVER breaks and you need someone to push the button...

Ahhh yes, live is good, you have a good one sweety, and we'll be oggling.

actually the funniest thing about those selfs is the preparation. And the mistakes, and the blaming, and... I'm not much into photography as much as in moving image, i wonder when there will be a selfportraitist to make a "making of" the portraits attempts. Another surprise is ... where the heck is going all that chocolate???

I know the preparation IS funny...ya know Sascha (assbach) has done some pics of *how* he does his selfs....maybe they are in his stream. Sascha??? and it's very interesting to see how he gets his final product...which believe me is MUCH better than anything I'm capable of...he is brilliant!

If it *is* and it was a self-timer shot, I could imagine you setting the camera, dashing into the shower, arranging everything to your artistic requirements, and then waiting for the "flash"!!

If it was someone else taking the photo, I hope the camera didn't get wet! :D

Not heard of the 365 thing before - I guess it means trying to upload a photo everyday?

Yes check out the 365 days project...there was a group *over there* ;-) with this idea...a self portrait everyday. And thank you for your *bon voyage*!

TO ALL CHATTERS: you MUST set up your browser and enable pop up windows in Ipernity. If your pop ups are blocked, no chat window will appear. so go to Firefox, preferences, enable pop ups and CHAT!

Great image! I'm impressed at your handling of the self timer - you got your act sorted ;-)
I use it too, with my little Gorilla tripod, though I prefer a remote control like I have on my G5 - I think all cameras should have this as an option, it is sooo useful!!

Have you continued with a photo per day or...?
