Strainer

Strainer
Our (me and my wife) favorite tea blend is black tea spiced with ginger. For this shot I used this old and rusty strainer. But normally we use some more modern utensils:

Durch den Schärfeverlauf befasst man sich automatisch auch mit dem Raum unter dem Sieb, der eigentlich außer der schönen Farbe nichts zu bieten hat. Ein interessantes Still.

I agree, the limits of poor depth of field and lack of quality hit hard on this topic =/

Das war keine negative Kritik. Ich finde das Phänomen spannend.

Sorry, I got lost on translation. But I myself think there is much to improve ;-)

I also like the soft blurred background. But the depth of field is just a little too shallow for the foreground.

At some point I need better tools =D

But it is not healthy for digestion! ;-)

And this was just a set up. I found that old rusty strainer from our drawers for this challenge, and it is not used anymore. Which reminds me that I need to go and buy a new one =D

Yes, Moomin mugs! =D

We Finns are peculiar people. We try to be unique when it comes to export, but then we all have to have the same items as every other Finn has. And one of those items are Moomin mugs:

What I would like to find id the filters for tea leaves you show in the mugs...

Some lovely photos here, Sami, and I particularly like your second PiP. Some of the moomin mugs are very collectible.

This one is £130

I think that one is cheating! =P That particular mug should still be on production and sold with "normal" price.

But yes, there are several mugs that are not made anymore and costs a lot! =D
