It's happened:-( They predicted it for a while... But maybe now there won't be so many selfie sticks around;-) I loved all the fossils in the rocks there.

Yes, there's plenty to see and experience still =) We were lucky the sea was calm that day, and we were able to take a boat trip from the Inland Sea. And yes, the fossils are also interesting there.

We did the boat tour on our first trip, sadly there was a bit of sea mist so the views were not clear. The second time we only got time to see the window from the usual viewpoints and I had a hard time keeping the masses of tourists out of the shot;-) www.ipernity.com/doc/523247/41714756//in/album/885514

Well, if we will be able to visit Malta again, we very likely will visit Dwejra Bay as well. And the whole Gozo is just wonderful.

OMG, you were so lucky to see it before it collapsed but how sad that is.

It is strange indeed to hear it collapsed only few weeks after seeing it. But I guess the guy who eyewitnesses it was super surprised!
