Was the snow thrown up by a snow thrower, or was it natural?

It is natural. This has somewhat puzzled me. For some reason this one is the only one out of four statues in the park where the frost has started to pack into such thick layer. For some reason the frost has got a good grip on this statue, and once it get started, then slowly falling tiny flakes of frost just keep on getting packed on any vertical layer. Almost like there is some sort of magnetic field.

What kind of lighting was it? Off camera flash? or light? Really makes this shot so interesting.

There are spotlights on the ground, pointing up to the statue. One in front and another one behind. Although, it looks like the one behind was not working at the moment when I took this shot.

Thank you Merle =) Temperature has stayed around -15 degrees Celsius for days, and at nights it is around -20. Not bad at all when one gets used to it =D
