I've googled this chap, but can't find anything about him. This has the feel of a woodcut to me.

I'd just like to add my thanks to the excellent Mr Leonard Okhotchinski...what a thoughtful man he is! I've now been able to find more work by this artist and quite a bit of information about him.

None of that wood appears cut to me. Rather than have it on any of my walls I would rather use it as a template for a real life installation by my pool.
