I noticed at the airport and in NYC in June, tons of Europeans. As it is, I can't afford to extend my research in these areas to suss out the flow of tourist traffic via economic flux at the moment. Dream last night signifies possible need for adjustment in my own skill set financial picture or perhaps go where the heart modus operandi.

Maybe I am a bit old fashioned but I prefer the original Star Trek opening tune to that one. But perhaps I'll give it a chance, if I could sound and play like that, It could be lucrative.

I'm afraid that there's no comparison to the sound of the original. I just bought a new disc, "Spaced out" with leonard Nimoy and William Shatner, it's quite possibly the best album ever made. Again perhaps I've missed what ever recordings the next generation produced. With out the first generation there would be no next. It's constantly referenced in the next generation. I find it thrilling considering the social climate in the world at the time these were made, it is still raising goose bumps.

DS9 is the best. Although it was about 1972 I quit watching television, or wait, in 1972 we lost our freedom in the USA. It was truly free during the era that the original star trek was made, Everything else is a gimmick.

Colorado is midwest. I was born on the east coast, so I can talk about freedom. I agree, people in California might not understand what they are talking about. I'll have to look up the second series DS9, my scant viewership places me in a non critical assumption land mass mind set, please stay tuned. Cisco Kid was a War tune I liked very much during the first star trek running, back when there were freedoms. Heck there used to be smoking and boozing commercials on TV. Live coverage of Vietnam, riots and moon landings, after all that DS9 seems like science fiction.
