Prayer

Prayer
These people were not with the hate group. They were praying for peace and enlightenment for them.

A hate group from Topeka, KS, came to Blacksburg, VA, on Friday April 9. Their vile message was met with creative whimsy by students and residents.

I have taken steps to protect the identity of the children who are being used in the worst way by the so-called adults leading this protest.

Their anti-gay, anti-American message was met with mostly whimsy and good humor by residents and students throughout the event.

I will not name the group -- you can figure that out for yourself.

They carried signs with slogans such as "Miners in Hell," an apparent reference to those who lost their lives earlier this week in a West Virginia mine explosion ~ yeah, these folks are a class act.

Other signs were "Israel is Doomed," "God Hates Jews," "Fag VT Hokies," and "No Peace for the Wicked."

Counter protesters' signs read, "God Hates Blue M&Ms," "Just Dance (it'll be OK)," and "What the French Toast."

Also, funds were raised for groups the protesters oppose.
