The macro setting on my SD1000 rocks so hard!

This is a pipe with peeling paint in a section of the water plant that is called the digester. Briefly, the tanks here break down the sludge that has been separated from the sewage and prepares it for pumping out to lagoons where it ages and dries for a year. After that it is pumped out by a contractor and is spread on area farmland.

The point of all that is to explain that in the enclosed section of this area lots of heat is given off and lots of steam is produced making the peeling paint fairly inevitable. It ain't coz we don't care!

Also, for those scoring at home (wait ... for ... it ... "or even if you're by yourself") I work at the wasterwater plant -- we don't handle the drinking water side of things here.

Cheers!
