Shot yesterday (20.11 -08) at the northern end of the market square in Turku.
Nowadays there's just about this one row that sell potatoes and such, these are also the most "low tech" ones of all the sellers at the market. Apart from these there are about ten stands selling fish, pastries, fruit and the like (these stands are often electrified and heated). Not so the case for these people.
Feels good to purchase their produce as there are no middlemen (today I purchased 0,5 kg of red onions for 2€/kg). This kind of enterprising is on the decline, most people buy from supermarkets (usually older people and immigrants buy their goods).
