A de Havilland DH.60 Moth (registered as K-SILA under the old naming convention, afterwards registered as OH-ILA) named Ilmatar, shot (most likely) by my paternal grandfather. A lot of post-processing has been done in order to bring out some details in the plane and crowd.

Part of a series of circa 70 sheets containing mixed (unsorted really) 6x4.5, 6x6 and 6x9 negatives spanning from the 1920s-1930s to the 1950s-1960s (so far I have scanned about 450 images).

Another reason to scan them is that many (if not most) are shot on nitrate stock... ;)
