Another benefit of the homemade tilt shift lens is that sometimes focus can be difficult to place where one wants it, resulting in obscure faces and human figures, which may
even be beneficial for 'street-esque/street photography'.

Home made tilt-shift ... sounds interesting.
I think his shoes are in focus ... well one of them.
However, I do like the picture.

It's fairly simple actually, google for "DIY tilt shift lens" and you'll find loads of info. I'll eventually post a picture of my setup with descriptions.
