A tourist (me) annoying the conscript evening guards at the east side of the Stockholm Royal Palace. I guess that the feller in the middle is a conscript duty officer who regularily checks sentries. The one being checked might had wanted to look over his beret... ;)

I've heard from a family friend who did his national service in Sweden that the one week duty at the Royal Palace was fun for the first ten minutes, after that the scores of tourists & others pointing a lens in their face was getting rather tiresome and frustrating.

this one is not too shabby in colour, prefer it myself in black and white though. Photoshop channel mixer conversion set to mimic a green filter.

In hindsight I don't know why I didn't bump up the ISO from 200..
