Brownmuir Farm is on the road leading from the foot of Lochlands Hill, not far outside Howwood. I could hear lots of activity behind the walls as i went by.

Boat TT65 has just arrived back in Largs from another fishing trip, and the gulls are circling as the fishermen throw the remains of the catch into the harbour.

My favourite ruin, unmarked on my Ordnance Survey map, but one which i photograph everytime i walk by it. This ruin found round the north side of Rowbank Reservoir, just south of Howwood.

A lovely sunset to end the day after a long walk round the Rowbank area just outside Howwood. This shot taken next to Newton Of Belltrees, a small hamlet next to Howwood.

The Bowfield Road runs out the south side of Howwood and up by Bowfield Farm and along past the Rowbank Reservoir. Always a good place for a walk.

This ruined building is known as "Rashiefield" and sits just south of Howwood, close to Rowbank Reservoir.
