I know that place, every year I drive that road to Belle-Ile-en-Mer...
A remaining piece of our Histories...

I Just visited the link you gave above.
A very well documented site (unfortunately in German)!
I was surprised to see how many bunkers left there are...

Thank you Christophe! It was not easy to find anything about this area, and I find nothing in English or French. It looks like no one want to speak about this dark part of our history. I was surprised too about the many bunkers, I didn`t seen them all during the holidays!!!

Yes ist is on the road to Quiberon,,, you go for holidays to Belle-Ile-en-Mer?

Well there's many place in France where you still can see WW2 ruins. I'm rather interested with this period, and although you can find many information on websites and books, many people still don't want to talk about what they lived in this period. In France, we've got a point to solve about the way the French government collaborated with nazis, whereas German people tryed to forget this dark times...

(my parents built a house in Bele-Ile-en-Mer a few years ago, I try to visit them each year)

Oh a house in Bele-Ile-en-Mer that`s great!!!

Yes I`m interest in this period too, it is not difficult to find information about popular WWII places, but about such an small place where only a few shots have fallen you`ll find nearly nothing. Ok it`s history
