Raccoon (4567) 

I just emptied that trash can! Who left a coffee cup (we have to empty them before dark, otherwise they take everything out)? We currently have a family of four raccoons. Rocky, Mrs Rocky and two "kits", or I call them "teens". They are becoming borderline problems. Hopefully with the snows coming, we won't have a real issue until next Summer, as they tend to head down the hill once it gets covered with snow at the top. If they do become a problem, then we will have to trap them and transport them somewhere else, hopefully together.

A visitor was drinking hot chocolate. Even I could smell it, and it was driving the raccoon crazy. It kept getting very close to her feet. When she finished her drink, she set it on top of the trash can and the raccoon was on it in an instant, took it away into the dark where we could her tearing it apart.
