Coachella Valley Airports 5 Mile Radius
The FAA requires operators of "model aircraft," which includes drones, UAV, quadcopters in addition to fixed wing remote control aircraft, to notify the airport if they operate their model aircraft within 5 miles of the airport. This map shows, roughly, the 5-mile radius circles around the Palm Springs airport (left) and the Bermuda Dunes airport (right).
