Deco façade

Deco façade
Front of the Carron Restaurant, formerly the Carron Tearoom. Designed by Hall and Tawse of Aberdeen and built in 1937. Listed in 1986.

The owners, who stopped trading at the end of August 2014, had had the inside refurbished in the style of the Queen Mary.

There's a newer picture here. Stonehaven, Kincardineshire.

Don Sutherland, John Linton have particularly liked this photo

It looks more modern than 1937 - a form of art deco?

Ah - I should take more time to read your titles than to make inane comments. Sorry.
