Almost time

Almost time
The clockfaces in the dynamic sculpture, A Million Times, approach their display of the time. This work consists of 288 networked clocks working to an intricate pattern, programmed on an Apple iPad. The effect is hypnotic, as you can see in this YouTube video.

Design was by Humans Since 1982, a Stockholm-based duo: Per Emanuelsson and Bastian Bischoff.

The work, which originated in 2013, was on display in the shop at MuDAM (Musée d’Art Moderne Grand-Duc Jean). See album notes for general details.
