Hmm. When I wrote the comment above I was just planning to take pictures on my own, but in the meantime I was assigned with the "official" picture taking on that wedding. Makes the whole thing a bit less easier...
:)))) it sure does, just pay attention to the details and you'll be fine.. enjoy yourself and you will pass that state of mind to your photos.
Tip : if they want you as the official photographer, try to get out of other time-consuming-energy-consuming tasks, so that you can stay focused on that ( I speak from experience - at this wedding I made the bouquet for the civil-marriage, the flowers for the guests to put on their clothes, I sew the dress when it was torn apart, I made the make-up for the bride... too many tasks for a photographer, so I didn't have the time to take all the shots I planned to => try to avoid situations like this)
