A substantial looking house......................and very attractive. I like the curved gable ends (not sure if that's the correct term) and the covered porch at the front. A beautiful location too.

The bench and gravestones make provide great foreground interest.

I like the detail in the close up view as well. A smashing pair of shots!

Yes I am Keith. A surprising little village :-) There were many nice houses in Dinton, but this one was my favourite Keith, not that I could afford it, but I enjoyed looking at it.

They make a much better photo like that, I wonder if some have been removed or if some of the graves were of paupers who couldn't afford a stone. In Ticknall churchyard there are some cast iron markers consisting of a cross and a ring I made enquiries about them one of the Harpur Crewe's at Calke Abbey didn't like the idea of the poor being buried in unmarked graves and bought these for the church to use, there must be records because one of them has had a little brass name plate fitted
