A well composed image, Rosa. The buoys provide the ideal foreground interest. The colour contrast between foreground and background is very effective.

I love the use of straight lines in the second image.

Wonderful coastal composition Rosa. As others have said the bright colours of the buoys make a great foreground interest and contrast with the subdued tones of the backdrop. The second image is equally well composed, I like the silhouettes of the figures giving a sense of scale.

Thank you for your kind comments Doug. The buoys were the only colour along the Cobb on that day. The figure in the second shot was a photographer with his camera on a tripod. I expect he got some good dramatic pictures.

Two lovely images. I like the foreground buoys and the building leads the eye to the background houses, hill and white topped waves. The second image has a much more calm and tranquil feel for me. Lovely tones and I like the distant figures.

I think seaside towns can be a bit depressing in the winter time, but I love the bright colours and the lovely light in the main image and also the shapes and textures in the concrete foreground.

In the PiP, I love the silhouetted people up on the harbour wall. Two super images Rosa!
