Delphinium

Gorgeous flower images. Two flowers I'm extra happy to see. Falkland Palace garden has a lovely delphinium border and a good many dahlias but it's still closed although hopefully opening soon.

Thank you Jean. I like the delphiniums at this stage, before all the flowers are out, with the graduation of buds and their colour. It will be so good when we can all visit the beautiful gardens we have around us. I still cannot get a slot to visit Stourhead though :(

Three wonderful images Rosa, particularly the Delphiniums - I love the colours especially in the buds. The background is lovely too.

The dahlias are also spot-on, especially the one with the hover fly!

All three are beautifully sharp and detailed. Great work.

My flowers have taken a battering from the wind this last week............ and we've been plagued by aphids this year with not a ladybird to be seen!

It's such a pretty delphinium Pam, but had to stake it yesterday as the winds were so strong. It's looking OK this morning thankfully.
