From the top of Helgafell, "Holy Mountain", on the Stykkisholmur penninsula in Hvammsfjord. At the base of the mountain is a small, private church in whose yard Gudrun Osvifsdottir, heroine of the "Laxdaela Saga", is reputedly buried.
