Lasagna Florentine, My Favourite Lasagna

Lasagna Florentine, My Favourite Lasagna
Lasagna Florentine. The sauce is made with Muir's (traitors to the organic food movement) canned fire-roasted tomatoes, tomato paste, onions, garlic, red wine, mushrooms, spinach, grated carrot, minced celery, onion, and a little basil.

The filling is made with cottage cheese, parmesan cheese and an egg. I don't put much filling in the lasagna, just a little.

The lasagna is layered with recipe-ready lasagna noodles (organic), the tomato florentine sauce, a little filling and a layer of bechamel. Repeat. Use a large pan. Bake for at 375 F for 50 minutes and let rest 10 minutes before cutting.

UPDATE: I just found out that the Muir company has provided the anti Prop 37 lobby with a half a million dollars to defeat mandatory GMO food labelling on all food products in California. Won't be buying these tomatoes anymore.
