Very windy :o)

I have been very busy lately but managed to go out with my boys today for a walk. The weather was not that good but we had fun AND got some energy in our body´s :o)

I really don´t know what this "house" is/was about??? Will find out hopefully - but it is standing beside an old road and there is room for hm, maybe 2 people standing very closely together :o)

Here in Canada in some rural areas, you'll see small buildings by the road at the end of a driveway. Just big enough where children can wait for the school bus and stay warm in the winter. Cool photo, and nicely focused.

The light is really interesting. The sky seems to be gray, but "glowing" anyway.

Ragnheidur pro replies:
Probably because it is a long exposure - the sun was hidden behind the clouds but you could see it inbtwn :o)

I expect Robbie Rotten to pop his head out, hatching some evil plan!! :D Interesting with that very long exposure. Must have been quite dark...

Ragnheidur pro replies:
So you know Robbie Rotten!!! In Icelandic his name is Glanni Glæpur :o) It was not dark, I used an ND filter for this one....

Takk og mér fannst svolítið flott hvernig hreyfingin í grasinu kom út....

maybe it´s because of the long exposure, the clouds are so smooth and gentle. I love it.

Well since it is close to the Presidential Residence, it must be a watchtower :) but I do wonder who does the watching since we do not have an army in Iceland, not a navy either, not any real secret police, police yes, secret no (it is impossible to have a secret anything in Iceland. Maybe we have a secret police, kept in a bank in Switzerland hihi ......

Ragnheidur pro replies:
MUhahaha - you are close Guðrún. I have been told that it is in fact a watchtower :o) It was used "in the old days".....

I like the blur of the grass. It gives the cottage the look of an rock in an unsteady world.
Posted 8 months ago. ( permalink )
Ragnheidur pro replies:
Thanks, the blur is there because of the strong wind and the fact that this is a long exposure :o)
