On the wrong end of the camera... 

The funny thing about living in a small country like Iceland is that there are not that many places to "shoot".

The good thing is that although you go out with some friends for picture taking, you never come up with the same pictures. We all see the world around us differently, thank God :o)

Well, having said that Iceland is small, it is full of surprises also - t.i. the weather here is constantly changing, so every other minute (or so) we have different sky and light :o)

Recently I listened to a lecture about energy in the world which got me to appreciate rain more then before. As a pilot I am not that found of the rain and as a mother, well rain is ok if the wind is "slow" LOL....
Rain gives us energy, which is good. But rain makes it harder to make pictures outside which is hm, ok I guess :o)

I like taking pictures of beautiful landscape and scenery AND I like taking pictures of kids and people. The past year and a half I have been selling a bunch of landscape pictures and have taken pictures of people (which can be so rewarding, it is nice to make people happy IMHO)....

This picture I uploaded mainly for the reason that I wanted to change my icon and I don´t know if I can do that without uploading a picture - it was taken for a French Magazine.

I have been browsing through Ipernity lately, with those newly created groups in mind (sigh, am not really sure how they work yet :o) and am happy to see that there are a few people from Iceland here WHICH gives people from around the world the opportunity to see Iceland from different angles and different "eyes"....

There are pictures from my friends, Hilmar which I have known since we were kids, Tinna, friends for years,Guðrún we became friends through DPC :o) ,Gurry started as a "photofriend" which grew into "friends" tihihi,Vala, Matthildur my beautiful niece,Valdís a very good friend (which is now making a dream come true by traveling around South America for a few mounths),

more people which I have gotten to know a little through our mutual interests :o) are Lárus,Sigrún,Gunnsteinn, and his brother Oddur,

and other Icelandic photographers that are active here on Ipernity are f.ex.

If I am forgetting someone I am sorry (and you are welcome to let me know) and if someone does not want to be mentioned here let me know also :o)
