Sometimes when you take a road, you can't see far enough ahead to judge whether it's the right way or not. This one, you can see so far into the future, and can see the darkness and danger lurking. Gives you time to prepare for the challenge!

I am sorry to hear you will be driving a road to nowhere if you are looking to get a McDonald's hamburger in Iceland. Where will you go to enjoy fine American-style dining now? ;-)

But it´s actually funny to think about that we almost never eat McDonalds but I am gona miss having it here!! All the more reason to go to the States though (although I never EVER eat McDonalds over there)....

I was raised on MCDonalds are a treat, but, I know that it is NOT fine dining. But it is consistent and you are never surprised wherever you find the golden arches. I am am sorry about the economic situation that made the operation of McDs too expensive to be viable in your beautiful country. I hope things improve there, and here as well, soon.
