That is a CAR :o) 


Which drove past us leaving those red lights in the foreground.

Just a few minutes before we pushed another car which got stuck in the snow. The road has only room for one car at a time because of the snow so thank god for my truck which EASILY drove all over not getting stuck... (would have been funny though, because it is so heavy that if it got stuck it would STAY stuck :o)

Yes those lights go under several names, Aurora Borealis, Northern lights and Polar lights also :o)

Just marvelous light and landscape. So different from the views we can find in our latitudes. The feeling of tranquility is soothing and pleasant. The touch of car lights makes the photo extraordinary.

I agree - at first when I saw the car I was like "sigh, why NOW" lol - but then I thought it would maybe add to the picture and it really did IMHO :o) Our landscape is beautiful but so is yours although different :o)

Já, fyrst var ég frekar fúl að sjá hann troða sér inn í myndina en ákvað að bíða og sjá hvað gerðist og svo kom þetta bara fínt út með rauðu ljósunum :o) Takk Oddur!

The wind was completely still (no wind that is) minus 16°celsius, so fresh and clear and just AMAZING :o)
