Now you went a little overboard regarding my French :o) something about the post treatment??? :o) (I understand tres belle Photo though :o) :o) thanks)
He's just excited as his brothers, isn't he? And he would like to fight at their side - and at the same time he's happy to hold his father's (?) hand...
Very very cute! What a beautiful boy!!!
Thank you so much - I am so proud of all my boys :o) Alexander Hrafn is very shy though and really thinks seriously about all the steps he takes in life, funny as that is not even 2 years old :o) This is actually his grandmothers hand (which I made look older than in reality :o)
This is a marvellous piece of work! The B/W treatment has really captured your son's whistful expression. The older hand seems more like a statue, due to the colour filter for the B/W. Great texture! :)
I really appreciate your comments :o) Thank you so much, really!!! I liked the drops on his face so much and they were so much clearer after I made the shot B&W...
He has so many sweet AND funny looks this little fellow - he is really shy and when he notices one looking at him he either closes his eyes or looks away REALLY funny :o)
Wonderful portrait, Raga. The detail is amazing, even if the sharpening is a but on the heavy side, especially for the hair. I like the dark tones too.
Thanks - I actually did that on purpose because of the drops :o) My ps skills are limited so I don´t know how to sharpen only a part of the picture without it looking awful :o) :o)
Well, you usually don't have a need to Photoshop your pics very much because they're great out of the box :-) I on the other hand have to PS almost all of them to compensate for my poor photography :-(
As for the sharpening: of course you can sharpen only what you want. Use selections, or duplicate the layer, sharpen the top layer and then erase the parts you don't want in that layer, so the unsharpened bottom layer shows thru.
Or do it the other way around: put the sharpened layer beneath the normal layer, then erase only the parts where you want the sharpening to show, in this case his cheeks with the water drops.
Or use any of the other zillion ways in Photoshop to get the same effect :-)
Thank you so much and I REALLY think so to LOL - he is sooooo cute :) I can actually sit and watch him all day and all night thinking OMG how is this possible :o) :o)
