I know - not good - got the idea from Qart on DPC... He really did an awesome job with a picture like that but my ps skills hm... BUT there will be some improvements in that area soon - just you wait... :o)
This is a great image! PS is a superb piece of software, and will do just about anything... The problem is figuring-out how! Best of luck! I can see you're getting the hang of it!! :)
Búin að semja við klára stelpu um kennslu - ágætt að pósta svona fyrir og eftir myndum...(before and after ps tutorial :o) Takk Begga, ert þú ekki alveg svakalega sleip á þessu sviði???
Tjah... ég tel mig kunna eitthvað smotterí! :D Vinn við þetta heilu og hálfu dagana... ;o) Endilega láttu mig vita ef ég get hjálpað, en reyndar sýnist mér á þeim myndum sem þú ert að pósta að þú sért bara ansi sleip... en það er alltaf hægt að bæta við kunnáttuna :o)
Frábært - ég er líklega alltaf að fara stórann hring í kringum hlutina :o) Kann bara það sem ég hef fiktað mig áfram og nota ps voðalega lítið... Gaman að fikta svona inn á milli... Takk annars, væri gaman að setjast niður með svona pro og sjá hvernig Á að gera hlutina :o)
I think photoshop has been ruined for me from flickr where people seem to rely on it for every photo and it's a requirement to be on Explore. I want to take good photos right from my camera. I'm not against some editing though, I do it to although it's with psp and not Photoshop.
Aha - I understand :o) I really think that if people use ps to much and to obviously (hm, a little like this image :o) that it ruins the picture BUT there are so many people that use it in a very interesting way... Look at this www.arimagg.is he is IMHO a really good photographer and he uses ps in a very good way... You know that photographers have always be able to "change" their pictures during development like now is possible to do with ps - it is just easier to do it now with computers and stuff :o) :o)
I'll check it later. I agree with you mainly. I want to take pictures that are ready to present straight from the camera though or with little editing ;-)
His picture is here... www.dpchallenge.com/image.php?IMAGE_ID=603083 - hope he doesn´t mind me "showing it off" - mine is not close to his in quality but as I say, I´m working on it :o)
Thanks for the link. It's indeed a very beautiful pic. I think the use of light from the side, with the reflections, is what makes the biggest difference. The brighter colors and the pencil could easily be photoshopped in, but the way he made the original pic is really good. But I'm sure you can do that too. It will be quite a challenge though to get it this sharp i it's an SP. So practice on your kids first ;-)
Not bad PS at all! If this is your eye, it's good for flying and is good for photography, so it must be pretty good! Add to that that it is also beautiful and you get perfection!
