That's no slut - that's my apostle. (nudge nudge, wink wink)

Mary Magdalene or Mary of Magdala is described, both in the canonical New Testament and in the New Testament apocrypha, as a devoted disciple of Jesus.

She was the most important woman disciple in the movement of Jesus. As a follower, Mary was one of many women (groupies) that accompanied Jesus and the Twelve during his travels.

Mary followed(stalked) Jesus to the very end, and was the first to witness his resurrection. Jesus commissioned (pimped) her—a woman, to teach men—the male apostles, the basic tenet of the Christian faith—that he had risen from the dead. There is no historical evidence of a more intimate relationship.
(say no more) (a nod is as good as a wink to a blind bat)

In the New Testament, Mary Magdalene is distinguished from other women named Mary as "Mary of Magdala", a town on the western shore of the Sea of Galilee. She was known to have been a person exorcised of seven demons, presumably by Jesus. Contrary to popular belief and historical church teaching until recently, nowhere does the Bible say that she was a prostitute.

The speculation that Mary Magdalene was the one who introduced Jesus to cherry chapstick is supported by the recent discovery of convenience store receipts in her old purse.
