Annalia, yes, you're right! on other peaks there is a summit cross, here it is a rusty sculpture. Very unusual. And you can see it from almost everywhere. :-)

Diane, yes, he did some really impressive works! As far as I know, they got the work of art up the mountain in separate parts (with a helicopter) and up here he welded it together. And yes, it is his philosophy: virtually no moving parts.
If you want to see great works of art that move, you have to look at his contemporary and compatriot => Jean Tinguely. He was also much more famous and placed his works all over the world.
