Aus Baumnüssen wird Öl (2). ► Bild 1
Die Blöcke mit der Nusspaste der Baumnüsse werden in Behälter gefüllt (Notiz 1).
Ein über 200 kg schwerer Holzbalken (Notiz 2) schlägt auf einen Keil (Notiz 3) der das Öl aus den seitlich Mehlblöcken presst.
Aus 8 kg selbst gesammelten Baumnüssen sind so 4 Liter feinstes Baumnussöl entstanden. :-)

Amelia, yes, indeed a very interesting kind of handicraft! You can bring your own collected walnuts and they will press them to oil. What remains is a nut cake, which is further processed into flour. From that you can bake bread for instance.
So I got from my 8 kg of walnuts 4 liters of finest oil. :-)
