Didn't keep out the sprayers:-) HFF, Neil, enjoy the last of the summer sunshine (I hope you do have sun in GB)!

And I was thinking the sprayers put up the fence to protect their work! ;-)
August was a marvellous month in the south of the UK.

HFF to you Gudrun and all the best for the weekend!

Art needs security! Great photo. HFF. We have a bit of sun in GB at the moment but don't think it will last. Don't care - September/October are my fave months.

Thank you, Helen.
I'm now looking forward to October, to see the trees.

I like this: the graffiti, desolation and even the second tape fence on the cones. HFF and best wishes for the weekend, Neil.

Your comments are a real bonus, George. I had you down as someone who avoids graffiti ;-)

HFF and best wishes for your weekend too!

HFF to you. There is some fine art work behind that fence.
Polyrus has replied to Eunice Perkins
Thank you, Eunice. The artwork is not top league, but collectively it certainly brightens up a desolate area. I took several shots of it and some will find their way onto Iper later. This image was more of an experiment.

nice piece of urbanism, and it looks like the cat's got its eye on the birds for lunch . . . an HFF!

Polyrus has replied to Amazingstoker
Thank you, Sir. I think the cat needs to grow a bit before contemplating having a crow feast.

Polyrus has replied to Cheryl Beal
Thank you, Cheryl. How did you know about the stroppy security guard who threatened to confiscate my camera if I did not cease poking it at 'his' private property? I did get some shots though, including two of him!
HFF and have one o'them fab weekends you seem to have up there ;-)

Did you forget to switch off the grid lines on your LCD screen Neil? :-))

This is superb! Perfect focus and DoF. I love the contrast between the bright and cheerful grafitti and the desolate look of the rest of the scene! Instant fave for me.
Polyrus has replied to Keith Burton
Sorry about the grid, Keith. It's my damn malfunctioning memory but I'll make an effort not to do it again.
I appreciate your positive comments and the fave.

It really will be prime development land if the HS2 rail link to Birmingham goes ahead as planned, as it will be within sight of the new station.

HFF for this shot which is full of interest, looks as though the cat is eyeing up a bird that is far to big for it,
Even graffiti sprayers leave the cans behind,
Nice shot .
Polyrus has replied to Grisly (Roger)
Yes, Roger, when viewed large there is a lot to pick out. Either that cat is very small or the two crows are exceptionally large. Thanks for your input.

Enjoy the remainder of the weekend.

I was half hoping the security guard would try to call in the lawmen but he declined my invitation for him to do so. On the back of his uniform there was a phone number and the words, "You have just contacted the A Team". I took a couple of photos of it ;-)
Many thanks for your input and enjoy the rest of the w/e.
