I agree and this is due in no small part to the great variety of conifer colours and shapes playing a major role. HFF!

Thank you, George. I image this garden looks just as good today as we are having our warmest weekend of the year so far. Hoping it goes well for you too!

It has to be, as it is owned and maintained by the Crown Estate. A belated HFF to you.

Thank you, Jaap. It is as good as it looks here. Always very tidy, yet oddly devoid of visitors whenever I have been there.

Looks a lovely garden- and the fence doesn't hinder the view:-) HFF, Neil!

I think almost as much thought went into the fence as did the garden layout.
A very belated HFF to you, Gudrun.

This is all part of the Crown Estate and currently still free access....but please do not mention this in case the Chancellor finds out!

A belated HFF to you and a hope you are enjoying the sublime weather this w/e.

Thank you for your generous input, Norbert.
We don't have far to travel to find similar landscaped gardens but it is not so when wanting to see some of the mountainous landscapes you have graced IP with on many occasions!
A belated HFF and all the best for the week ahead.

That's what I wish to you too, Neil. Have a great week ahead.
Believe it or not, the English coastline is closer to my home than the Bavarian Alps.

The gate is not locked and there is free access every day of the year. A little off your regular route though ;-)
