My favourite fence of the week. I'd happily have this over the fireplace in my front room. The Mona Lisa of rust. HFF!

Polyrus has replied to Cheryl Beal
I'm taking that as a big positive Cheryl. I would not try whacking anything though, out of fear of retaliation. I'm allergic to whacks!
HFF and a happy w/e to you too.

Oh yes a huge positive......rust is gorgeous....I have a whole Album full of it on here!! Very wise to refrain from whacking too!!

That splash of green off setting the rust makes this one for me, liking the pump part too, HFF Neil and have a good w/end. :)

Polyrus has replied to Benny Tonner
Thanks for your wordy input, Ben. The greenery gives some depth to the image, which would appear very flat without its intrusion.

HFF to you and the south coast area is promised a very mild w/e, so make the most of it.

Junkyard fence? HFF Neil

Polyrus has replied to LutzP
At first glance the location appears to be all junk, however, there are signs of restoration of steam traction engines and oddball vehicles.

HFF, Lutz and best wishes for a rewarding w/e.

Agree with Ben about the splash of Green and circles verses squares. :)

Great find Neil. Holes, squares, circles, lines and curves - this has loads of interesting stuff and rust as well!!

HFF to you and have a good weekend.

Polyrus has replied to Keith Burton
Many thanks, Keith. There are a thousand such photo opportunities on the industrial estate at Hollycombe. I've never seen anyone there on a Sunday so its all unattended and begging to be photographed.

I know what you mean, Pam. ....but I find your comment quite thought provoking. I would like to go back to the old life for a while, and also try a new life....providing my cat would go in the Tardis with me!

Who says rust never sleeps? This is the most relaxed rust I've ever seen. Truly a still life. ;-)

Polyrus has replied to Sarah P. (mostly off…
Thank you kindly, Sarah. I'm glad it was still, otherwise I'm sure the result would have been too blurred ;-)
