The present

Sometimes I think Kisi takes this depression thing a bit too seriously... he wants to help out and brings home food :o)

Last week he brought me this present, laid it at my feet for acceptance and praise and then proceeded to eat it.

I took photos of the leftovers but I very much doubt you'd like to see those...

a few years ago... My cat Tomitza.. caught a pidgin from the window(I live at the sixth floor)..The kitchen was filled with feathers...ohh he caught him..but I set the bird free ... it escaped alive...(But i have to admit that I was proud to see that Tommitza still had a wild side ) ..

Ooohhh yes... I know it... EVERY day... one bird and one mouse (minimum). I always think: pooooooooor birdy or poor cute mouse, overprise Sunny the tom-cat and say to myself: Sandra... it's the food chain *argh* ;-)

Nevertheless... it's a successful photography! ... and I still love your timberdeck ;-)

Pixiepro replies:
Exactly... it is the food chain... and the natural way of the predator.
Kisi has brought home mice and birds in various states... sometimes alive, sometimes dead... poor things.

Thank you so much Sandra... and I also really love my timberdeck! ;o)

Wow, a rat?! LOL, thank god we don't have so much of them here!

The largest animal Kisi has brought home is a snipe (hrossagaukur in Icelandic):

Hihihi... not a small birdy ;-)
3 weeks ago he brought a mole... such a cute little animal with big "buckets" and a cute face. But... our garden... there are not any molehills ;-)

Pixiepro replies:
A mole! He has so many more animal species to choose from... Kisi only has mice and birds ;o)

Quite brave and daring, really. It's nice to see someone taking a photo like this, as all aspects of life should be recorded, and you've done this rather well.

Thank you so much Greg... this is the natural way of life... :o)
