Every town in Iceland has its own special mountain it likes to call its own... and thinks of course is the most magnificent mountain in the land ;o)
My hometown, Hafnarfjörður, has Keilir (which really means "cone" ... easily explained by its shape) :o)
This morning I hiked to the top of Keilir... too bad there is no road leading to it where it stands in a lava field... so one has to start (and end) with a 3 1/2 km. walk from and to the car.
The weather was beautiful and the walk was... invigorating :o)

My legs were a bit tired... it was good to come home, take a steaming shower and lie down on the sofa... and eat my Easter chocolate egg! :D
Hmmm... I have my settings so that exif properties should be visible... don't know why they aren't here. But anyways... I took my lovely little Oly with me on this hike ;o)

Efsti parturinn er svolítið brattur og laus í sér og stórgrýttur, en ekkert stórmál ef maður er á góðum skóm og með stafi til stuðnings á niðurleiðinni :o) Það er bók uppi sem maður skrifar í já, ég kvittaði fyrir mig :o)
Frá bílnum og aftur til baka tekur ca. 3 tíma... fer eftir því hvað stoppin eru löng :o)
